Summer is almost here! With so much happening across the city, we’ve rounded up some of the best events happening this June so you won’t miss a thing!

Jagged Little Pill

National Arts Centre 

May 30th to June 4th 

Spend the night in the town with the girls, grab a drink, and indulge in a Seafood Tower at The Shore Club before heading to the National Arts Centre. Sing-along to some of Alanis Morissette’s greatest hits in the Broadway show Jagged Little Pill that will have you on your feet the entire time! 

Joy, love, heartache, strength, wisdom, catharsis, LIFE—everything you’d want in a Broadway show. Get ready for this exhilarating production that brings fearlessness to this new musical based on Alanis Morissette’s world-changing music.

É.T.É

National Arts Centre 

June 9th 

It’s Friday night, take yourself out and start the weekend off right by listening to music that combines folk, jazz, progressive rock and classical music all together. The group É.T.É offers a vibrant and contemporary take on traditional Quebec music! 

Élisabeth Moquin, Thierry Clouette, and Élisabeth Giroux unveil their universe to the sound of the violin, the Irish bouzouki, the cello, and the jig. 

Grab a drink at the bar and sit back and relax and enjoy the sounds of these incredible artists!

Witch Prophet

June 17th  

Three years of the release of Witch Prophet’s last album, she returns with a new LP, Gateway Experience! 

Witch Prophet offers an ode to her Ethiopian and Eritrean ancestral roots, combining it with fusing Jazz, Hip-Hop, Soul, and RnB. Listen to her live performance of her new LP with a mix of vocal layers, loops, raps, and harmonies with hip-hop, jazz, and soul-inspired beats.

Ottawa Jazz Festival 

Confederation Park 

June 23rd to June 30th 

The Annual Ottawa Jazz Festival is back with a great line-up! Featuring programming that features many variations of jazz. 

The Ottawa Jazz Festival 2023 features performances by Lord Huron, Jonah Yano, Laufey, Brekky Boy, and so many other jazz musicians. Grab your friends, a drink and a lawn chair and enjoy the best of the best Jazz in Ottawa’s Original Downtown at Confederation Park!

Jinkx Monsoon: Everything at Stake 

National Arts Centre 

June 25th

Great ready, Ottawa, because it’s Monsoon season! 

The two-time RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon is coming to the National Arts Centre to present her biggest concert with Everything at Stake! Even though it’s Sunday Funday, prepare yourselves for a night of laughs and fun by grabbing a drink at one of these patios (link to Patio Guide) before heading to the show. 

Jinx is known for her electric performance style. She pulls together tales from her enigmatic life in her show as music, comedy, witchy magic, and cam-fantasy collide into a full-on entertaining show.
