83 ’til Infinity
Welcome to the new exhibit 83 ‘til infinity by the Ottawa Art Gallery, where we see, hear, and move with stories and experiences of hip-hop in the Ottawa–Gatineau region that flow from decades-long conversations about the craft and values of hip-hop’s five pillars: breaking, emceeing, DJ-ing, graffiti, and knowledge.
Celebrate the creativity, innovation, knowledge, and traditions that make up hip-hop. The materials we were lent show how the values of hip-hop are built on culture, community, activism, and justice.
Attend the opening reception of the new exhibit on July 8th from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM with evening festivities, including refreshments, speeches and dance performances. Stay for the party hosted by Cranium Arts Project featuring DJ’s and performances by Lia Kloud and Bangz.
