Jeff Meleras is an Ottawa singer songwriter of apocalyptic and political tunes in the Americana indie folk-rock tradition. He now presents his seventh album, the Ballad of Copernicus Road, a rock Oratorio loosely inspired by the Ten Commandments, and all those classic 1970s Rock Operas.

Featuring many different Ontario musicians and singers, the album flips from songs about those commandments to autobiographical events in Jeff’s life.  It goes to a place where the Old Testament meets Kurt Vonnegut, the Beatles, Buddha, Phil Esposito, and a whole other cast of characters.

Jeff will be joined by some Ottawa’s finest musicians and singers, as he brings this album to stage under the direction of Dave Draves,  who co-produced it with him at Little Bullhorn Studio over a number of years and very many exciting sessions.
