Celebrate Giving Tuesday at The Ottawa Mission’s social enterprise, Chef Ric’s! A special green-themed meal will be available for anyone to purchase! Gifts made to The Ottawa Mission on December 1 & 2 will also be matched by DYMON! Why green? It's the colour of hope and new beginnings to showcase the transformative power your compassion has for our neighbours in need. What’s on the menu? Chef Ric's is serving up French-Canadian green pea soup, spinach pasta with a creamy garlic parmesan sauce, garlic bread, and kale-spinach salad with a pear vinaigrette dressing. All proceeds from the special meal go to support The Ottawa Mission. Plus, if you make an additional donation at the restaurant, you’ll get a free green cupcake! The price for the meal is $7.99. You can also enjoy it at Chef Ric’s second location at the YMCA (180 Argyle Ave) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
