From 11 AM – 2 PM, The Ottawa Mission’s social enterprise, Chef Ric’s (located at 384 Rideau Street), will be serving a special Giving Tuesday green-themed meal for anyone to purchase! The colour green symbolizes hope, health, and new beginnings—values that align with The Mission’s work to support those in need. What’s on the menu? A French-Canadian green pea soup as well as a spinach pasta with a creamy garlic parmesan sauce, served with garlic bread and a kale- spinach salad with a pear vinaigrette dressing. All proceeds from the special meal go to support The Mission. Plus, if you make an additional donation at the restaurant, you’ll get a free green cupcake!
